wtf is up with his steal horse

the bad guys vehicle is mentioned as a steal horse by one of the children, but wtfffff, im a big fan of the movie and all, but i dont think this should be in it. a steal scorpian, its so funny when he sits on top as if its a tank and keeps bashing the wall.

and the bad guys character is so plain, firstly he trys to kill jet li at the beggining for no reason, and then becomes invincible and comes back and trys to get revenge, FOR NO REASON.

Have you only watched the movie once? Or maybe some idiot edited out the opening conversation between the bad guy and Jet Li. FYI, that bad guy is Jet Li's junior (they are the disciples of the same Shaolin monk). He is jealous of Jet Li because their master says he will never be a better martial artist than Jet Li. His jealousy turns into hatred for both his master and his senior. Eventually he defects to the government, which pays him to kill Jet Li and his secret society fellows. Somewhere in the middle, he returns with government troops to wipe out Shaolin and to get the map (that's business). He kills his master too (that's personal). So there you go. He does have reasons for trying to kill Jet Li.

I have it on dvd, i have seen it many times. he still does it out of randomness though. He is a pointless bad guy.

And you didnt mention what this whole topic is about. the big steel horse
WTF IS UP WITH THAT

reply

Apparently he isn't as well explained in the english-dubbed version.
You probably saw that...

There is no Emoticon for what I am feeling..!

I thought the steel horse was tacky and a bit out of place, and it reminded me of a Sinclair C5. Anyone else remember them?

well, the villain's reason to kill Jet is because that is the mission given to him by the Qing Dynasty. he was formerly a rebel along with Jet and he just betray him.

I think that the movie was written as an epic, but couldn't be filmed as such. That's why everything in the movie is rushed and out of place. Lots of little threads of stories that are told to us through contrived dialogue, rather than shown. Kinda ruins the movie. Cool fights, though.

A commentary track for this film would be either hilarious or awful. Much like the movie.

I think the word you are looking for is steel!

I have an eternal hope.

Thanks for contributing to the conversation, Rehoboth. That's a really interesting point. Makes one question the design in life. Or is it a design? Maybe it really is all chance. /sarcasm
