Macleod's Quickening...

Has anyone else noticed that everytime Macleod receives the quickening, he always ends up seeming more worn out & weaker instead of stronger? I'm watching H3 now, and he just killed Kane's 2nd henchman in the hospital basement(?), and it seems like receiving such a load of power made him exausted! Agree? Disagree? Thanx for any & all replies, thoughts & opinions!!

i always interpreted it as it was in the first film where he is in the parking garage on his knees. in the tv series its the same situation, where the receiver is slowly recovering from the jolt.

in this film i assume its because they wanted it to seem more dramatic. moreso since the effects for it are more exaggerated.
