Pauline's family reactions?

What happened to Pauline's family after the murder? How did her father react? He seemed like a pleasant fellow and what happened when he realized his daughter killed his wife? What about her siblings? how did they react? Did they take her back after she got out of prison?

You may want to read Peter Graham's book, So Brilliantly Clever. (The American title is Anne Perry and the Murder of the Century.) In addition to everything else, it covers the trial and aftermath. This is what I remember from it.

Pauline's father rarely visited her in prison. He found it depressing, and he never completely forgave her for murdering Honorah. He did, however, drive the rest of the family to visit her regularly. Emotionally he never really recovered from the murder and was more or less a broken man afterward. One bright spot in his life, though, was that the two sons he'd abandoned when he ran off with Honora got in touch with him and visited now and then. He died in the 80s.

Pauline's older sister Wendy visited her in prison and wrote to her regularly. Wendy had been dating a young man seriously at the time of the murder, but he broke off the relationship. She eventually did marry someone else and had children. Throughout the years she has kept in touch with Pauline through letters. She said that in one way Pauline was lucky in that she was able to escape with a new identity while the rest of the family had to endure the gossip, pointing, whispering, for the rest of their lives.

Pauline had a younger sister, Rosemary, who had been born with Down Syndrome. She was institutionalized roughly around the time that Pauline met Juliet or shortly before, which is why she doesn't appear in the film. She died, but I don't remember when.

Pauline never returned home. After her release from prison she was on probation for approximately five years. She spent that time living and going to university on New Zealand's north island. When her probation was over, she left New Zealand for good.
