Wouldn't you like to see ...

I know it wouldn't have been as haunting and memorable as it is now, but wouldn't you like to see the trial scenes, and police arresting Pauline and Juliet?
The movie was so intense and poetic, so it might take a wrong turn while showing the trial scenes, but I just want to see the girls' reactions.

Yes!

No, that would have been anticlimactic. The film's emotional intensity comes from the passionate relationship between the two girls, if we saw them after their bond had been shattered, the last scenes would feel like they were drained of feeling.

Maybe the next film made about this case will have those scenes.

I think another movie could be made just from the aftermath of the trial and their separation from each other.

I love this movie as it is, but would be happy to see a well-made documentary. PBS-level, not "crime of the week" stuff.

Amazon Prime is running Anne Perry's 'Interiors' which gives some insight into the adult Julie.

Thanks, Hawk! I am a Prime member and will now look for this. I haven't had a gander at Prime Video for a few weeks - I've been running my boxed set of True Blood for my partner who is new to it! I've only seen Anne Perry in one online interview and an appearance on a UK morning show some years ago promoting her book of the moment. She sure comes across as arrogant which disturbs me. She seems to have little remorse and her career choice is questionable!
