I don't get the low score.
It's not a 9 or 10, but 6?

I agree. This is one of my favorites. 8.0 at least.

I so agree; 8, at least. How often do we see this perspective on former glory and power; its effect on a person of whom so much was asked and expected, yet who is now viewed as a leftover "nuisance" obligation?

I just saw it and gave it a 6. Beautifully acted, painfully trite and dully predictable story. I enjoyed it for Cage and MacLaine, who played off of one another perfectly, but that's still as high as I could go.

I completely agree -- the rating is a travesty. It's a sweet, smart little movie that's about a relationship we don't often see on film.

I gave it an 8 but would totally agree with even higher.
