Not necessarily, there is one of sorts between the two leads but not at the very end.

I suppose it ended really the only way it could end. Most of us are saved from suicide by the mere fact that we aren't in the lives of those we maim. Matt was, as a FBI agent. The way the Southie gangs are interwoven with the FBI in Boston, I really don't have much faith in the group OR the CIA. Due Process? Good line; not funny since the justice system increasingly has no use for such.
