I love some Godzilla, and I finally got around to watching this movie but have one main question/complaint. Godzilla can withstand military-grade weaponry and beams, etc. from other monsters, but the guy on the island is going to shoot it under the armpit with a gun? 3 guys with rifles are running to get Godzilla, and the telekinetic woman has to say, "stop, don't kill Godzilla." Really? You're worried about 3 guys with rifles killing Godzilla?

It was an alright Godzilla movie, and as with all Godzilla movies, you have to go into it just accepting it for what it is but this part seemed extraordinarily stupid, even for a giant monster movie.

Agreed. In that scene I just think "pfft, they wish they could take on Godzilla". I doubt the serum in the bullet would do any damage even if it did get into his system.

Im sure the radiation would just burn up the Blood Coagulant before even entering his

But at least the Blood Coagulant bullet wasn't as stupid as them trying to use a psycic chick to communicate with godzilla telepathically.

Like ok, let's say you can communicate with him..what exactly are you going to tell him?

Godzilla is clearly a mindless beast. Godzilla is a creature that really isn't supposed to have ever existed, he literally has no purpose in life other than to destroy, he was created by weapons of mass dstruction, therefore his purpose can be argued that he's SUPPOSED to destroy.

and telepathy? how stupid and lazy of the writters.

Im all for venturing into different themes, time travel? alright. G-cells forming wwith plant and space life to make other monsters? ok you can give me that. even using hitting godzillas weak point and injecting a blood coagulant? alright im at least for the attempt...

but using telepathy to reason with a 400 ft nuclearpowred dinosaur? give me a break. that's stupid even for godzilla movie standards lol
