this one is beyond stupid

I grew up watching Godzilla movies but this one was too much. Even my 8 year old son was completly bored with this one. I hate to say it but the Japanese have not progressed beyond 1970' s special effects and the screen writer is running out of ideas. The baby Godzilla suite looked like they picked it up at Walmart's Halloween department. Godzilla Tokyo SOS was much better than this piece of tripe.

Oh, come on!

This one's not nearly as stupid as the one with the little fat kid who daydreams that he's on Monster Island with the talking Baby Godzilla. :o)

Don't ask me what I think of you,
I might not give the answer that you want me to.

Space Godzilla is a decent villian & baby Godzilla has always been dumb (in any decade)

My biggest issue with this film is the almost nonsensical human plots
This one was beyond ridiculous

Normally Godzilla fights the entire might of the Japanese self defence force
In this film more than half of it is spent walking around on the island while a single lone gunman runs behind him (absurdly trying to sneak through the bushes) to fire an electrolyte bullet at the big G (I am sure this is a poor translation, but I don't care if that bullet has black death plague inside, there is no way a tiny caliber gun fired from that distance is doing any damage to G)

Then the psychic decides to stay on island, yet somehow the bad guys know this and show up that same night to kidnap her. She is then rescued the very next night (how does anyone know this) and even worse in the epitome of stupid, while in the windowless room they declare Space Godzilla is coming lets evacuate! Um how can anyone know this???

I agree. It's entertainment and is all personal taste, but this is one of the worst Godzilla movies ever, very poor for me. Of course, it's on the same blu-ray as Destoroyah, one of my favs

Godzilla vs Space Godzilla was OK but I like Godzilla Tokyo SOS better. Tomorrow I'm going to watch Godzilla vs Destroyah on the same DVD and I hope it will be better than this one.

Where the hell is your local Walmart? I REALLY want to see their Halloween department.
