The supporting cast was very strong, seasoned actors. Boatman and Petty were decent and held their own. Ice Cube....was Ice Cube. Movie could have been better given the cast was pretty good.

The judge in the movie was absolutely stunningly beautiful... as is Victoria Dillard in everything shes in.

I finally got around to watching this movie today (recorded it on the DVR a while back). I couldn't get past the first half hour. The characters were so lame, the acting was horrible, the costumes were a joke, and the script was about as bland as the plastic badges they wore.

I was laughing my ass off at the stupid dialogue between the trainee and the woman in the red car. What were they trying to show?...that law enforcement takes away the innocence and good nature of minorities and women? The only academy THAT trainee graduated from was the one in the movie "Police Academy: Citizens on Patrol". Oh, and then the training officer goes chasing after the same woman to give her the ticket. HA!!!!

I deleted it.

This movie has become a lot closer to reality than some people choose to believe. I think is does show how "some" cops (notice the word some) are not out to protect and serve but use and abuse. This statement comes from a person whose best friend has been a cop for 30 years. While the movie may have exaggerated some of the behavior, it has a real feel for how some people are treated by policemen.
