Am I the only one....?

Who actually loves this movie? Somehow, it has become the movie that me and my cousins quote the most. BTW, im 20 and I do have good taste in movies (My top 5 being Goodfellas, Good Will Hunting, Cuckoo's Nest, Pulp Fiction, and American History X).

In regards to comedies I love Planes Trains and Automobiles, Stripes, Ridgemont, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

That being said, perhaps its the cheeziness or something, but I truely find this movie enjoyable and decently acted. Ted Danson IS funny in this role, and his two sidekicks are amusing as well.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if no one reads this, the movie doesn't seem to have many fans. :(

No you guys aren't alone in this I love this movie for many reasons. I myself have a healthy DVD collection (this isn't one of them yet but I am looking to change that) some titles including Stripes, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 1&2 and comedy classics like Ferris Beuller's Day Off and Airplane!. While the acting was not the best ever this movie still had its charm and its moments (the four of them having their faces re-arranged on Top Gun was just funny I loved the Amuesment Park scene). I am hoping to find this movie on DVD soon becasue I have not seen it in years.

Aw i love this too, i know what you mean about quoting it, it's just one of those that stuck with me from childhood. Culkin dancing to "Do you love me?" is classic.

And i also have a crush on Ted Danson. For some unfathomable reason he makes my stomach flip...

I always hate the guys who go to a fan board of some movie to tell how much he thinks that movie stinks, but is my feeling here!
Can't believe Ted Danson quit Cheers (and therefore forced it's cancelation) because he wanted to do films like this one.

What can I say? The Amusement park scene STILL cracks me up after all these years. BTW I have been to that park it is Paramount's Great America in Santa Clara California and it is awesome.

No, I love it too. I even made sure I visited as many of the places they go to on their "itinerary" in this movie (like the natural history museum, aquarium, etc) when I was in San Francisco! I love the music too.

There were a couple of good stupid-funny parts in it, but the main reason why I bought a copy is I liked the sexy blonde seen on the MUNI. The one the detective was distracted by. Her name was Cheryl Lee. Does anyone know anything about her?

I actually liked it too. When I was a kid they sold books of the movies at the school library(do they still do that?) and i bought it and read the movie before i saw it which made it cooler to me. The scene where the two guys led by Saul Rubinek are walking through the city with the "treasure" map and theyre counting their steps and some guy on the street messes them up when he's yelling out prices or something, and then saul just punches him. That was hysterical!!

Love this film. I think Bobby/Carl made the movie really and yeah the amusement park is the best scene!
