shareI adore the original, but I actually quite like the remake.
You just have to leave comparisons behind, especially Baldwin and Basinger. In their own right I thought they did ok. No...they cant hold a candle to McQueen and McGraw.
But that said, it had great action scenes...i loved the racetrack robbery...the opening robbert, and the sequence in the hotel at the end...and a superb supporting cast...Michael Madsen, Richard Farnsworth, David Morse, Jennifer Tilly, James Woods, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Burton Gilliam.
