Subbed VS Dubbed

Typically I prefer my anime in the original Japanese with subtitles, but there are two anime in which I really can live with the dubbing and this is one of them (the other is Ninja Scroll). In fact, I would say that I actually prefer the English dubbed versions of the Fatal Fury series to the subtitled versions. I have always thought the voices were right on target.

Does this DVD have an option to watch the movie with the original Japanese voices? I was thinking of ordering this movie but I can't stand English Dubs. Although, I did like the dub on Appleseed (the 2005 release). That one was good, but the DVD had an option to listen to either English or Japanese, which I appreciated.

Yeah, it's got the option for English or Japanese dialogue. That's how I know which one I prefer!

I agree, the dub on this movie is awesome with perfect casting.

Another cool thing is that Geese Howard actually yells out his move in the English dub. He says nothing in Japanese.

The casting in the entire trilogy is absolutely superb. Some of the best voice acting. And the voices are so fitting. Only minus is when Mai was changed for the last part. The first one had a much softer, more feminine voice; one of the sexiest I've heard.
