I figured that if Keanu Reeves can do what he did in Matrix, and Tom Cruise could do what he did in MI2 than Brad Pitt can definitely do Andy Bogard in Fatal Fury, just each him some ninjutsu and wing chun!
Also the reason I chose Robin Shou is cos he looks and fights like Joe Higashi, Robin Shou trained in Muay Thai and San Shou, so he is definitely able to pull off Joe Higashi.
My reasons for choosing Chuck Norris as Jeff Bogard is cos he is a positive role model, honorable martial artist/fighter and also a father figure kind of character, so he won't be in the film for long.
And Steven Seagal cos he fights like Geese Howard, using aikido and also they have the same kind of appearance and build. Slick backed hair, tall and intimidating, arrogant and skilled in Japanese martial arts.
Sung Hi Lee cos she is a hot babe who looks just like Mai Shiranui, she looks the part and she was able to pull off fighting in MK: Conquest as well as Birds Of prey as Lady Shiva Woo San!

Yes, however, Keanu Reeves and Tom Cruise did not play 20-somethings. You have to realize people will look on the screen and wonder why Andy and Joe look 40.
First, I would toss out "positive rolemodel" and "honorable" and all that kind of garbage. Nobody watches the movies because of that. While it's good that Norris and Seagal can fight, A) they can't act (which is my major concern, and B) are way too old for their roles (Norris is almost 70 and Seagal is near 60) and C) bear no facial resemblance to their respective characters.
Finally, yes I agree that Sung Hi Lee looks very hot, but she is a terrible actress and the fighting was done by a stunt double (much like pretty much everything in Conquest - only Bernhard did most of his won stuff).
