Sounds perfect but I dunno, the thought makes me a little ill. Matthew playing one of the most brilliant vg characters ever!

Josh Holloway. 'Sawyer', anyone?

I think he's perfect. Southern accent, blond, great looks and he can definitely pull off the roguish feel of Gabriel.

I thought Josh Holloway too but he's too tall and thin. I never understood the casting of Dean Erickson. He looks nothing like Gabriel and didn't even have the Southern accent!

I think Dean Erickson makes a great Gabriel Knight.
I think he defenitely looks and sounds the part.
The only thing he didn't have was Curry's masculent voice, but he fitted the character perfectly.

He was my first introduction to Gabriel Knight and from the first moment on he was a hero to me.

You know, when I saw Dean Erickson, I actually thought he looked kinda like Thomas.
But I think Thomas, as well as Dean, is getting a little old to play Gabriel.

I'm kinda hoping that they prospone this movie so that one day when I'm off my wannabe-actor status I can fullfill the part... :')
Well, we can all hope, dream and fantasise, cant we?

Josh Holloway (Sawyer from Lost) ALL the way. Everytime I see Lost I think to myself he'd be a perfect Gabriel.

Too tall and skinny? Last I checked GK isnt short and fat... but really thats just nitpicking way too much.

it would be great if they made a movie of this game just dont screw it up like there doin on the video game movies i would like to see Josh Lucas as Gabriel and mark hamill as the mosley

Of course, I'd like to believe I would do an excellent take on the character.

Matthew McConaughey is a good choice though.

Aaron Eckhart! Really great idea... he'd make a really great Gabe!
I wouldn't mind Josh Holloway either (tho if one's into nitpiking the nose's too thin). It's practically a tie between those two, I believe... but I'm more inclined towards Mr. Eckhart.

Anyway, is the movie really coming out or is this just based on hearsay? Cause it's the first i've heard of such thing... Would be really nice if it were true, though... Especially if backed with a good production. We would be getting a Gabriel Knight IV after all! XD (here's to hoping they wouldn't be dumb enough to do it without Jane Jensen's hands all over the script.)

Oh and Mark Hamill for Mosely, all the way. The man's a genious, plus... we'd still keep the voice.

Isn't Mark Hamill a little old for Mosely?
I mean he and Gabe would've been in high school together and stuff.
Gabe's in his 30's Mose in his 50's?

I don't think so.

And no there's nothing official news about a Gabriel Knight movie.
We're just trying (as in allmost every game message board) to find actors worthy of portraying the characters.

I just saw Dean Erickson, he was in my plane flying from L.A. to Boston! He's aged a bit, but still looks pretty much the same

How about the southern guy on Star Trek Enterprise. If he had longer hair he would look alot like Dean Erikson.

If they were to make a movie, which they almost certainly won't, it can't be a pretty boy. Aaron Eckhart and Thomas Hayden Church are better suggestions.
