How did you come by this film?

This turned up in my parents house, they claim they didn't purchase it. Spooky.

I haven't actually seen Funny Man yet. But i came by this film on www.fangoria.com/, who have a review up right now on the new special edition DVD that's to be released at the end of May. Sounds interesting to me, so i'll probably check it out once the new DVD has been released.

I love horror and all that and heard of this then I found it in Global Video a few days ago for 6 quid on DVD. So I snatched it up (bargain) and bloody love it.

Goddamn it, McNulty- next time someone hands you an exploding ham, I'm gonna give you the mustard.

I just saw it on the shelf yesterday in FYE and since I'm a huge horror buff and I love entertaining splatterfests, which this looked like, and since Christopher Lee was in it, I decided to buy it.

I just found the movie at Frys and I have never heard of it before but it sounded awsome so I bought it. I'm to go watch it.

Christopher Lee fan. I think it was mentioned in an article about him. Read the premise and it sounded good.

Unfortunately, the humor was more like Troma films than what I find actually funny.

Didn't recognize any of the actors other than Lee. Didn't understand the point of most of the characters. Like the New Age Black woman, dressed in 60s/70s clothes when all the other characters were dressed in 1990s style. Or the so called American wife who had a British accent. Or the chick dressed like Velma from Scooby-Doo. Oh well.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

I found out about this movie after reading an article in an old issue of Fangoria magazine a few months back. I finally saw it over the weekend after ordering it through Netflix and I'm still trying to process what I saw. I can't say that I enjoyed the film all that much but I've suffered through worse (every single one of the HOWLING sequels). I'm no stranger to "weird" films with a darkly comic edge, especially in the horror genre where guys like Peter Jackson and Frank Henenlotter nearly perfected that formula in their early days, but this one just didn't click with me.

It's a strange film, that's for sure.

I was actually at the premiere of this movie at the Edinburgh film festival. Christopher Lee wasn't there but the director was, and he started his introduction by saying "welcome to the kingdom of crap."
Ive watched this movie heaps of times and love it, but everybody I've shown it to hates it.

I was one of those weird kids that would go to the horror section at the video store & rent whatever had an interesting cover.

I haven't seen it since. Guess I have to make a trip at the same video store soon.
