After seeing this movie recently, I did a search on Wikipedia and found that Stacey Lockwood and Angela Delvecchio were pseudonyms. Stacey Lockwood's real name was Kirsten Costas and Angela Delvecchio's real name was was Bernadette Protti. I found photos via Google, and these girls appear to be the opposite of what you would have expected from the movie. Kirsten Costas (aka Stacey Lockwood) looked average, while Bernadette Protti (aka Angela Delvecchio) looked like a model with long blonde hair.

Protti was hardly model beautiful. She looked good in her yearbook photo because it was professionally shot and filtered and God knows what else. Here's a more candid shot of her (on the left) for comparison:
She had a really big schnozz and was rather homely.
Kirsten Costas may not have been tall and drop dead gorgeous, but she did typify the diminutive cute look that was popular in that era. I remember my older sister's friends had that bobbed hair, paired with a polo short and coloured tights. Here are more pics of her, even as a tyke.
Most movies based on true stories use fake names. They also add/leave out key points/people or change them altogether. And hardly ever do the actors resemble the real person.
I don't really think either of them could really stretch that far tbh...I remember when Kelli Martin tried to play tough on a different tv movie and it was not good lol
When you're 17 a cow can seem dangerous and forbidden...am I alone here?
Nah I think they cast it right. It's not really about how pretty each was, it's that Tori rather perfectly pulls off the rich spoiled brat. Hmmm, I wonder why that is.
