DVD costs $45??

This is odd. The Amazon page for the DVD, which is listed as being new and in print, costs almost $45 at the time of this posting. Used copies start at about $26. I wonder what's pushing the price up? (Old VHS cassettes are cheap. I guess the DVD has a lot of bonus material.)

Also, it's unavailable on NetFlix, although Blockbuster seems to have it.

Well, it's not in print. When you go to the details of the item it reads like this below the price: " Sold by mirmedia_movies_and_music and Fulfilled by Amazon." It's a third party seller but the shipping and whatnot are handled by Amazon. I've seen other titles that are out of print but show up during a search like they're readily available.

Wow! Seriously?! I need to get my copy back off the guy I loaned it too quick!
I think I paid £1 for my copy.
I also have a Freaked comic book that I found in a charity shop for 10p; wonder if that's worth anything too!?

Wow. That's kind of crappy. I happened to find it at a local pawn shop for $2.50. Special Edition, no less. My eyes lit up and I exclaimed very loudly, "NO $#]+!!!" I had been looking for it on DVD for about a decade.

I'm glad I already bought my copy for a more reasonable price some years back.

What do you think this is, a signature? It's a way of life!

Same here. I picked mine up the day it was released to retail stores. I only paid 20 bucks for the 2 disc special edition.
