Audience singing at wedding?

I've never heard of this. Lol.
Nothing against it, just not familiar with it. Is this an English thing?

Yes, the church congregation. I've been to lots of weddings but had never seen it. That's why I was asking.

It is normal at church weddings for the congregation to join in with hymn singing, just as they would at an ordinary church service.
