Modern day version and Ryan Gosling can play Forrest judging on his performance from Lars and the real girl. Thoughts?

No one can play Forrest like Tom Hanks...Tom Hanks was incredible in this movie.Why a remake?

A year - 1995!! - right after this, the original author Winston Groom did actually write a sequel, "Gump & Co.," I've got it, it's pretty good.
