PG-13?
i know sex does not happen in this movie very often but when sexual innuendo happens its a bit strong for 13.
I'm not sure if you mean "sexual innuendo" is really bad and should be given an R-rating or you feel the sexual innuendo is so minor that it should not put this at a PG-13 rating but just a PG-rating. I will address both. R-rating: In the US, innuendo is considered mild in our society and not considered bad enough to restrict the audience by giving it the R-rating. PG-13 rating: Sexual innuendo did not put this movie at the PG-13 rating. The 2 F-bombs, drug use, violence and Gore put this at the PG-13 rating. PG movies allow brief nudity so innuendo is probably included as well. Rating a just a guide. I'm more strict when it comes to ratings since the shift on what is acceptable. I.e. PG-13 used to allow 1 F-bomb, then 3, and now I think it's up to 5
shareI found it the opposite PG Movies and PG-13 Movies in the 80's to 1990 seemed more Lax then Now, I remember Look who's talking Too had a lot of "F Words" in it, and 16 Candles had a Nude scene and 1 "F Words" That was during the Reagan Administration (AN Actor Turned President) the Censors were pretty Light then (GO Figure, LOL!) Even years later it may be more PC but still more Racy than what they show from the 1940's up.
