Hi all, in the entire history of The Flintstones Barfney never worked with Fred at the Quarry. Though it was never said what her did, Betty once let slip he "was in secret buisness" read spy. Fred was always seen dropping him off before he went to work. A small fault in a very good film!

actually, barney at some poiunts in show did work with fred even in one episode it revealed that Barney is the nephew of mr.l slate(the idea of that was crapped in later seasons and specials I guess), but just think, if barney didn't work with fred in this film it wouldn't have had much of a [lot at alll it would ahve had chip getting his way and rule the company.
and fred would have failed the exam because if you remeber Brney got the highest and new that fred was in need so he had to switch with him.
