DeSouza is still credited in this?

Ye gods... the films bears absolutely no resemblance to his actual script. *Nothing* remained from it. The xenosaurus, the fibrerock, Fred and Barney as Slate's partners, Poindexted Lava, the "anti-Barney" and "anti-Fred" characters, the talent competition... all gone, and I didn't even see any line of dialogue that made it.

Unless he actually wrote an entirely different script later on, the "Flintstones" by de Souza that I have are about as close to this film's story as an episode of "Scooby Doo".
