It's so hard to find a DVD version anywhere, except Amazon German's region 2 "Made in Hongkong" series. Why don't they issue a platinum version for this excellent movie?

I just ordered the French Metropolitan dvd from Amazon France. Looking forward to it. I have not been able to find it anywhere else, not even on VCD.
