this has to be one of the greatest movies i have ever seen. hope its on on dvd soon have to add it to my collection...

This is a really good film. Hopefully it will be released on DVD in the near future.

Agreed. I've caught it on television a couple of times; they simply must put it on DVD.

I just checked Amazon, and it appears that the only Region One release it's had was a very badly done 2005 version that got horrible reviews (for DVD quality) by those who purchased it. Too bad; this movie deserves a proper DVD release.

The quality of a film can sometimes be clarified by it's longevity in the minds of those who have watched it. This film is one of those. Ever since I saw it on the tv about 10 years ago, I have been desperate to watch it again.
It just leaves the viewer with such a warm feeling.

Just watched it on Netflix. Delightful film! Loved how the boys won over the cook. "Put it in the fridge!" :-)
