Filmed earlier than 1994...

It's not listed in the trivia section, however I remember when this came out....they said it had been actually filmed about 2 years before.

That's why it's a little more dated-looking (as someone else mentioned) with hair and clothes. By 94 things were changing over a bit from the early 90's.

I think its older than that... most likely when Brad Pitt became hot property after thelma&Louise, coolworld, and River runs through it, this film got to see the light of day from the editors can.
The cars along with the afore mentioned clothes and hair give it away. If I was to guess I would say late 80's.

Another of Pitt's films DArk side of the sun also received this treatment.

Just watched it tonight and prompted me to look into it further....

Got the answer on Hollywood.com, it doesn't say why? but says it was filmed in 1990 and not released until 1994.

My guess is it wasn't that great of a product so it sat awhile?

DEFINITELY the styles and fashions were not of 1994. They had changed by then, the mid 90's were post-grunge, LOL

I was attending college in Los Angeles in the early 90's. Someone handed me a ticket on campus to see a "movie review" in the spring of 1991. This was the film we saw. There were no titles or credits. Just a rough cut was shown. We had to stay afterward and fill out a questionnaire asking what we liked best about the film, etc. A lot of movies are previewed this way. Its amazing they come out in the theaters so much later, if at all.

That makes sense, I guessed late 80's when I saw it on TV last night.
