Great news for Region 2 people: Moskwood media is going to release this on DVD "somewhere in november, including a couple short films". According to the nice feller who works there.

Get it at www.moskwood.nl when it's available.

Does anyone know if there is a version of this DVD in it's original czech language, rather than being dubbed in english?

All copies of this i've been able to see are dubbed in english, Pretty annoying.

Cheers, Mat.

I have no real problems with the English dub, but it would be nice if there was a DVD that had a czech language option.

Is anyone aware of there ever having been an original czech DVD release?

Does anyone have english subtitles?

reply

All the DVDs I am aware of are dubbed into English. So, if you wanted subtitles, I guess you could transcribe them from one of those versions, or something.

Looks like Kino doesn't even have the English dubbed version anymore. Hopefully this means a new one with subtitles is on the way but I'm glad I snagged the dubbed one when I did...

I have a Czech version with English sub titles on DVD which was taken from a VHS recorded from TV!!!.. The video quality is ok to poor and the first 30 seconds is missing :( The Czech version was the first I saw and I think it is much better. The English dialogue tries too hard and is "cheesy" compared to the more austere Czech . I've tried too get a "real" Czech version by emailing video stores in the Czech republic but have had no luck.. So if anybody has an authentic Czech copy I’d really appreciate knowing how they got it.

Cheers
