DVD of Farinelli won't work on Mac

I just bought a legal/reatil copy of the Farinelli DVD (R2), but when I went to see it for the first time on my iMac G5 it caused a kernel panic... it all froze and had to reboot. Ejecting the DVD the computer was back to normality. I have repeated this several times, always with the same results. It only happens with this DVD; all others play OK. Anyone having the same problem? Thanks.
