question about the ending *spoilers*

problem with the end of this movie he gets shotsomewhere in the neighborhood of 30+ times yet hes still alive and able to inject himself with his serum how would he of not immediatly died after being shot that many times with so many going through his chest are we supposed to believe this serum he made can fix your body no matter what happens to you it can fix your organs even if there mutilated/eviscerated and it does this all in a matter of between 8-9 mins the timespan they established when he healed his wrist and his back was enough time to get him to the morgue and the guy he tried to kill ready to do an unneeded examination of the body which is clearly many gun shot wounds which only like a few scars instead of the 30+ times he was shot
