Interesting notion, but no. Christina sees Francis as a father figure, and the rides home are the only times she can really talk to him. She obviously has some domestic issues of her own, probably abuse or a broken family, and I see her as gaining more confidence in herself, her self esteem is better after her rides home with Francis. She would have no reason to kill his daughter. Christina isn't jealous, just isolated and lonely. Francis helps her out of her shell, and wow, then she becomes a stripper! That's a turn around for ya. I don't know all the answers, and I like that some mysteries are left unanswered.

obviously no.
1. they "found the guy who did it" after they implicated francis
2. the point of the last scene is that christina has a terrible family life, and sees francis as a father figure as the previous poster said. Francis after what happens to his daughter decides to throw himself into this role and do what he can for christina.

so but why did eric say that he knows his daughter?how did her daughter ended up in the fields and did both of them , chrissy and eric knew at that point that she was franciss daughter?

because they were looking for his daughter, that is the reason many other people were walking the fields.
Seems like it was a kidnapping or something like that.
How did the daughter ended up in the fields? it is not really explained, you can just estimate that the killer left her there, and the people around the city were helping the family to find their daughter.
They knew she was his daughter because they were actively looking for her.
