I cannot understand how it's nice and sunny in different regions Harry and Lloyd were traveling at but in Aspen it's very cold and snowing. Shouldn't it be as cold in Providence Rode Island? and in which state they were driving trough where Harry realized they were traveling in the wrong directon how can it be sunny and clear?
shareThey obviously filmed the movie during different seasons for the states they drove through. Rhode Island would have actually been during the winter since Colorado was snowing and cold when they arrived there.

shareI have always assumed this movie takes place in the early spring. In the gas station men's room scene when Lloyd looks at his watch you can actually see "March 25" right next to the time display and later at the gala Mary's stepmother says something about how "the snow will be gone in a couple of weeks."
Any inconsistencies in the weather are flaws in the movie.
Harry and Lloyd take only two or three days to drive from Providence to Aspen, not six months, LOL.
