...other than the old frozen tongue gag (which we'd already seen in another movie) it wasn't anywhere near as funny as the first half.

You're insane. The part where Harry whips a snowball at Mary in point blank range always makes me laugh out loud, probably one of my top comedic moments in the whole movie.
