that's where i recall it from... clark also hymns on "swing low, sweet chariot" for some reason, and breaks down ranting they're gonna have so much fun they'll be singing "zip-a-dee-doo-dah" out of their butts and will need plastic surgery to remove their smiles, check out little richard cover that tune on his 1993 album, i guess we have to say "the original" vacation movie now after the awful remake/sequel... i know the sequel to this isn't the best, but the 2014 "vacation" i consider the worst movie i have ever seen, just one of the things that made the 2014 sequel to this less funny (aside from some quite uncomfortable dark vibed scenes and adult jokes) was actually the co casting of comedians, the ticked off angry bad guy in this first movie following them along the journey was much funnier, casting serious actors in funny roles often works better, i think of one of the funniest movies of all time as example, "the naked gun", the entire cast of that naked gun franchise are actors previously known for serious roles, by the way, i used to only know mike starr from playing small bits like this type casted as an angry guy, remember he also threw chevy chase's furniture in the river playing a mover in "funny farm" (1989), but i really have new found admiration of his diverse acting ability after hearing him as a frequent performer in many different twilight zone radio dramas episodes, both starring and as supporting cast, some suggestions of great episodes he stars in to check out are "the lonely", "it's a good life", "escape claus", "a thing about machines".
