High School Musical

Can you believe the guy who's totally responsible for the High School Musical phenomenon wrote the story and screen play for the action thriller? If you heard about it and realized it, please reply your feedback and what you think about it.

Well i just found out of your thing and i can honestly say that Drop Zone has now been dropped from a 6 to a 3 just the sheer fact that the pr1ck who wrote it wrote high school musical.

Why mess about with the ratings of a film just because you don't like another film by the same writer? If everyone did that the ratings would be all over the place and would eventually become useless. It's just childish and ruining a generally good guide to films. I might not like Revenge Of The Sith but I'm not going to give American Graffiti a lower rating because of that. Halfwit.

Drop Zone was originally supposed to be High School Musical, they just had to make a few minor plot changes. Excluding a few stylistic differences, I would say that the two films are pretty much the same, almost frame by frame really.

It's true. Zac Efron was cast in Wesley Snipes's role, and the kickass destruction began. Earth will never be the same.

Why do you have that on your head? Chris Knight: Because if I wear it anywhere else it chafes.

It is amazing to me how these writers take the same plot they stole from some other writer and reuse it over and over. Like the plot of this movie Drop Zone, the writer stole it from Break Point and then he reuses it to make High School Musical. There aught to be a law against that. I heard that they were even going to give Snipes the lead role again, but his tax troubles prevented him from taking a job in the USA at the time. Too bad, it might have elevated High School Musical to another plane. Get it?

So your telling me that after writing this flop he wrote something that was actually well received?

I don't have an opinion. The word "opinion" implies the possibility I'm wrong.
