The R-rated cut, unfortunately, not the full unrated one. Disappointing, and no sale for me.

It’s annoying but I doubt we’ll ever see the unrated again. As with my Scream UHD, I’m reluctantly going to accept the R-rated.

While I’ve seen the unrated footage from Dream Lover, it helps that I’ve never actually seen the unrated cut all the way through.

I understand. I first saw the movie in its unrated form, on VHS. Any other would seem incomplete, and censorship/cut movies is just something that pisses me off, so I'd never be happy buying a disc of the cut version. It's been readily available on streaming platforms for years, and will likely continue to be (it's on Tubi right now for free) so I feel I can watch that anytime if I get the urge.
