Poor film quality


Is it just me, or does this film look really old and cheap? The film quality or lighting is really crummy.

Yeah, I think the film looked very sharp to be honest. Perhaps you're focusing on the blue tint, washed out present set scenes, but that's the point; it's an intentional (and in my opinion) fantastic contrast to those flashbacks.

I read somewhere that it was filmed like that (bluish/gray tint) on purpose to show the harshness of winter in Maine and to give it and the audience a feeling of depression. And it was depressing.
