Why Isn't This Movie On BLU RAY?

This is the best film of this woman's career, in my opinion, and it's her favorite role (she's said so!). Get this booger on blu ray stat!

Totally with you. I'd get it.

Thanks, Steve! Exactly! I'm amazed that Kathy Bates' favorite role (she says so herself) hasn't been put on Blu ray at this point. Of course somehow I'm sure it all boils down to money, but seriously: With so much crap in the $5 bins, you'd think they'd want to make money off an incredible classic like this one. I've purchased this dvd for nearly every friend I have (and I will say, that's a lot of people), and I'll do the same when it's on Blu ray...if they'll hurry up and put it out! :)

...and hopefully someone involved in putting it on Blu ray will read this! Any support is appreciated! :)

Watched this for the first time. The best version I could find was a 720p with 2.0 audio on ITunes and torrent sites. Bluray.com has it listed but release date is tba.

Well that's more than I'd seen before. Thanks for the post, vxcxnxus!

I'd buy this on Blu-ray, definitely. It wasn't a hit and there are no "big stars" but it's a haunting movie, so well acted.

Hopefully WB will catch on soon that it will sell!

Everyone go to warnerbrothers.com (I just did) and e-mail a request for release on Blu ray. If enough of us do, perhaps they will show interest in the release. Thanks!

Bump...still hoping. ;)

It is. Warner released a blu a few years back. Nice disc, with the Taylor Hackford commentary.
