Conspiracy theory: ('a friend') SPOILERS!!!

SPOILERS!!!!

Disclosure A.K.A. Never underestimate a woman...

Is it possible that Kaplan orchestrated all of the events in order to discredit BOTH of her competitors for the promotion?

Why would she protect Doublas/Sanders so much? What made them such 'close' buddies anyway? especially seeing how they knew they were each others' competitor for the VP position. With one little scandal, Kaplan was able to destroy her foes...both of them.

Think about it, what good would it have done Kaplan to help Sanders so much other than to bring down Meredith?

(SPOILER!!!)

"A FRIEND":
Seeing that Kaplan was "deep throat", how did she know so doggone much in the first place?

WOMAN POWER!!!

The wife showed power by sticking with her husband for the sake of her family.
Meredith showed her power when she 'molested' Sanders.
The female lawyer showed power by defeating the male lawyer.
The female co-worker (on Sander's team) displayed her stereotypical 'male-hating' power.
Finally, Kaplan showed her power by strategically manipulating the ENTIRE ordeal.
She also took advantage of (Sutherland's) persistence in hiring a female.

Kaplan beat EVERYONE and WON.

This movie is about women and the various forms of power they can exert.
fair assessment?

OK, Bill Gates, I edited my initial post and deleted my other response.

Since your IQ is so off the chart, why did you leave your heading the same?

yeah but you brought it up.

Why not lead by your own example?

Reason: because you are an anal retentive fool who took the first opportunity you could to criticize someone else, but without correcting your contribution to the issue. Instead of looking smarter, you actually look dumber.

*******This was your fault, I'm not editing anything.********

"wahhhhh its your fault...I'm telling mommy"

what a childish dweeb you are.

I watched this movie the other day, seen it tons of times, but I completely agree with you. Kaplan was in all the meetings with Donald Sutherland and she couldn't have just freaking told Tom in a secret location that he was being screwed over. It makes him look foolish in that he still considers her a friend even though she knew 90% of what was going on, the whole "a friend" thing was ridiculous. She didn't know whether Tom would figure it out in the end or not with those ambiguous emails, so Meredith easily still could have been her boss, so either tell him straight out or not at all and just deal with it.
