Tom Sanders should have gone to a court of law (SPOILERS)

Tom Sanders didn't realise the full extent of what he went through. If the script was a woman being sexually assaulted, the case would have gone to main court. Tom was more concerned about his career rather than his rights as a human being. He should have made a stand and took Meredith to main court, he was sexually assaulted, he said the word "No" many times, Meredith committed a crime.

The sexual assault scene was a little confusing, it seemed that Tom liked what Meredith was doing, but at the same time he didn't want it to happen. He could have physically pushed her away. But at the end of the day he still said "No".

Tom should have said "to hell with this career" and pressed sexual assault charges against Meredith in main court with a judge!

I know he slaved to get where he got with his career, but you know what? things changed the moment the incident happened, Tom shouldn't want to still stay at that company after what happened to him there, he can get the same career somewhere else he still had the skills.

There wasn't much justice at the end of this Movie, all that happened was Meredith getting transferred to a different city, so she still had a job and she could easily sexually assault someone else. She should have gone to jail! Meredith getting transferred is more like a scenario of her being a bully to employees, this was not the case she sexually assaulted another person.

You're ignoring several things:
- Even today, a dude has a hard time getting anyone to believe him he was sexually harassed/assaulted when the woman happens to be a smoking hot beauty. Never mind in the 90's.
- Meredith got FIRED in the end, not transferred.
- The book explains that he felt something was not right and couldn't shake it off (her coughing right before he stopped, which he eventually infers as her going through the motions, thus SETTING him up), in the movie they do show the coughing but never explain this.
