Absolutely the worst produced movie ever!!!!

I have never in my entire life seen a more ridiculously produced movie!! I watched this feature to it's entirety on AMC this afternoon (2-20-08). Cheesy actors and the switching from each scene to the following were just horrible. I'm guessing the budget for this film was $ 20,000.00??? But in reality I'm sure it was in the millions...I'm willing to bet it lost money.

Gangsters involved with a clothing designer??? C'mon...how lame is that? And I didn't even look who the music score was produced by....I thought I was watching a sequel that was produced in the early 1970's. The past two hours were nothing but a waste for my life...but I did watch it...and laughed at the ridiculous plot (what plot?) Sorry Charlie...but you should have performed in a series of tuna commercials for Star-Kist or Chicken of The Sea instead!!!

Obviously you have never seen Lake Placid 2.

I agree - it's a bad movie. Try watching this one back to back with the first one - and you'll see the difference between a major, studio-backed film and this wretched independently produced mess. Part of the blame has to go to Bronson - wasn't his salary five mil? So it was about 5 mil for him and 1 mil for the rest of the film?

There are not many scenes in this movie, where the viewer doesn't think and feel: "GET ON WITH IT!" and want to force the movie to move forward, or something more interesting to happen.

I mean, what the heck? Is it really necessary to show jazz-musicians playing jazz, or models on the catwalk for such extended periods of time? And is it really necessary for the 'fat guy torturing scene' to be so long, tedious and the fat guy himself so gutless and seemingly soulless and personality-less as well?

The musics.. what seventies stock pile did they find them from?

The calculated tit-flashing to keep the interest of the viewer (they are such obvious "tit-posing-scenes", despite trying so hard to look otherwise) doesn't even work to alleviate the tedium, but come across as manipulation of men's sexuality. How cheap and cheesy! When there's no story or anything other interesting elements in the movie, let's just flash some boobies, that should get their attention! Really? How low can you go?

This is called DEATH wish, not TIT wish, for crying out loud.

Did someone specifically REQUIRE that the main villain has to be the least charismatic actor that has ever appeared on a movie screen? This guy and the fat, bearded guy .. whoah.

Just kill me for REAL rather than make me watch this again, please.

It was awful. I'm no expert, but this stood out to me as a really shoddily produced movie. The foley work was absolutely dire, with ridiculous clapping footsteps dubbed on when someone was walking around a car, and stupid inappropriate vocal noises every time there was a bit of action onscreen.

The acting was really poor - it looked like everything was done in one take. Ed Wood would have been proud. Bronson was never an actor but even he looks more wooden than usual here. Stereotypical mobsters devising ever more silly ways of killing people, ditto the anti-hero (didn't he just used to shoot people? Now we have poisoned cannolis and exploding soccer balls!)

The story, thin and all as it was, and (I'm ashamed to say) the scantily clad women kept me watching, but this definitely comes into the category of "so bad it's good".

The poor quality of everything is what made the movie so great. It's obviously not the best in the series, I admit that (in fact, it's my least favorite), but it's a film you watch once in a while when you want to break away from reality and just have some plain fun.

The first time I saw it on AMC, it put me to sleep. I eventually watched it again in it's entirety and enjoyed it...a little too much.

With a budget that was under a million dollars, I feel that it was not as bad as everyone here thinks it is. It was a great finish to a great series and a great theatrical career for a talented actor.

And for the record...Bronson's worst produced movie is, hands down, Assassination.

I watched 10 minutes of this movie and it was funny as, especially Bronson's acting and the looks on the goon's faces. Watch it for a good laugh.

Death Wish V is a classic!

According to IMDb, its budget was $5,000,000. I'd say that was roughly what I would have guessed.
