Wow, they're not even trying, are they? Everything's on purpose!

There's a certain brilliance in this movie purposely being so bad it's good. Like so many things are just so over the top ridiculous about it. Like they fire their weapons for 40 seconds straight without running out of ammo. Random references to random movies that just doesn't fit in, standing out like a sore thumb. "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few..." that is one helluva random time and place to be quoting Star Trek!
Not to mention Shoryuken, all the over the top references to directors and characters of other movies in the names of the characters of the movie.

And someone, tell me, how is it that Rachel Weisz came to be in 20 seconds of this movie? I couldn't believe my freaking eyes! I saw this once like 13 years ago or something, and I only just rewatched it just now, recognizing actors left and right. Holy cow. What a weird movie this is!
