Do you have to be Native to enjoy this movie?

I'm not a Native American, and neither is my spouse. We enjoyed the movie a great deal. Simply put, it's a well-crafted movie. It has everything going for it: writing, direction, acting. It's my favorite kind of film in that it has something to say, and it does it by telling a story.
