The Aunt is yelling Queeenny then lifts the couch to find her "baby" dead..this part was so hilarious to me lol Not the dog dying part,but the way the dog flew out of the couch hahaha

I always laugh at that part too. She loved that dog more than life itself.
I've often wondered if Viola stuffed Queenie in the couch

When I saw that part as a kid I was angry and mad! All I could focus on was the dog! I was like "POOR DOGGY" Now I watch it and its hilarious because that women is so over the top!

lmao this is the most hilarious part out the whole movie.

When I first saw this on UPN years ago, I thought that scene was meant to be sad or something

That part was hillarious I love dogs and I hate that the dog died like that. It was funny how he just popped right out of the couch. I wonder if Viola did that as well how would he get stuck in the couch unless he was laying down the on couch and they accidently stuffed him in the couch. Then again a dog is like a child it would cry or make some type of noise to say it was hurting.

It looks like its gonna rain... That means my baby made it into (voice breaking) heaven.... (continues to cry)

My baby sister cries (looks up with head tilted & high pitched voice) day & for something to eat...

I laugh, but it makes me suspect I am a bad person.

I have wondered about Viola, too but the film really gives us no clue as to how that dog ended up in the couch.

Me too, but that scene really was the funniest bits in the movie. Call me evil, I laughed so hard I couldn't even breathe. As for Viola you can tell she was the one who'd done the deed.. the flat eyed expression on her face as Aunt Song was carrying on about her dog says it all.

I thought that they all had something to do with it. Viola had the flat expression and the other girls were surpassing there laughter. The one twin sister clearly was smiling and trying to suppress it.
