Why do people think Viggo gave a bad performance???!!!

Even fans of Viggo say this is a horrible acting performance. I don't understand their logic.

I think he was incredibly realistic playing a very racist person. Not to mention just a very high strung and mean spirited person in general. I think he was superb.

I can't help but wonder if it's because his really adoring fans hated the character so much that they find it easier just to say it was bad acting??? LOL

I know people, even in my own family, who are EXACTLY like Phillip. My hat's off to Viggo!

I'm a very big Viggo fan and I think he was very good in the movie.

People who doesn't normally watch these kind of movies will not se the greatness of it. They only see a bunch of people in a boat for an hour and a half. These are shallow people who don't know a good drama when they see it. Every scene has something that pulls you in.

Viggo did very well in this film. Period.

Yes I agree, this film is unfairly panned. If people were more honest they'd say they loved it.

I thought he did a great job. I've known people just like Phillip and Viggo's portrait of Phillip was perfect.

It seems that I am also the only one who actually liked this movie. I thought the character of each of the people on board was very interesting. Each of them was pathetic in their own little way and they where thrown together on this yacht they couldn't get off of, into this impossible situation.

I have to admit thought, that I liked the movie better the second time around.

I gave it 6/10

He was very cute as always. And two scenes that I find totally funny: about 'u s*ck cock?' and his fight with the latino girl. The fight was so unexpected for me, that I just jumped on my chair.

I thought it was over the top and seemed forced to me.
