McDermott's Death

How awesome was Dylan McDermott's death scene? One of the great movie villian deaths in cinema history? Anyone agree?

I dunno about it being the best, but it was definately good. As if it weren't enough that he was being dragged, he hit that little raise in the track and flew a bit before sailing the rest of the way. A very fitting end for a very twisted villian.

that was one of the greatest things i have ever seen

I just wish all really evil people would die that way, with their legs splayed like that to the ceiling. McDermott, yes, he was evil, but other evil too. I would like to see a lot those multinational big corporation bosses to die this way....or ideological feminists maybe (he said with tongue in cheek--about the femmes as well as the bosses; not being chivalrous now towards the ladies--although i suppose some ideological femminists are men while some big corporate CEOs are women, i would like to say (ah, *beep* just ignore me)

That looked so fake!

It was a obviously dummy and looked NOTHING like a real human body. LOL

It was good and well deserved, but not that amazing.

reply

I always remember that as being one of the funniest dummies I've ever seen!

reply

you're a dummy.

reply

wasn't it like supposed to look fake? Cuz it looks hella funny. Dummies are funny.

reply

the greatest thing about it is when the fake dummy hits that obtrusion in the rail line & does a flip

you knows it's fake cause the dummy completely flips over while being completely stiff, but it is still a "oh snap" moment, but hilarious because of how it looks, i remember watching this when i was a kid and didn't notice, and watching it nowadays makes it just that much better

I always wondered about the reaction of the people once the train stopped, they got off and saw what was left of McDermott's body.

Criminals like that wont come out west, because they dont want justice the Cowboy Way. But when the Cowboys bring vigilante justice their way, oh man, dont they just get tied to the back of a friggin subway?! Improvision... One of the Cowboys' greater gifts.

When they were making the ropes by the speeding train I did think that one end might accidentally get caught on the train while they simply tied the guy up or something. But when they did it on purpose, I was like "no way!". One of the most awesome villain deaths I've seen.
