. . . by this movie. If, in fact, Ty Cobb was anywhere near like the character portrayed in this film . . . he wouldn't have survived his early adulthood. Boo!

Cobb was a notorious jerk. A racist, to boot. Beyond his playing, history does not remember him fondly, and it shouldn't.

Only four people from MLB attended his funeral. He was a pariah. All the defending of him I'm seeing of him on here is laughable
