This was easily one of my most liked direct-to-video horror movies. A bit campy, a bit stupid at times, but still far better than the trite celluloid we are given these days.
At least a barebones, $9.99 special release would be nice.
Yeah, I love this movie too. I've contacted the director about this and he answered my mail! He promised that he would talk to the producers about it. So lets hope that we can get this great movie on DVD soon.
The problem is its a Independent release and wont make any money because Nobody saw it.
The movie had an Edge to it and if I was the director I would of made some Improvements but its a good straight to video even when your watching it at Midnight.
IF THERE IS NOTHIN WORTH DYING FOR/THEN YOUR NOT FIT FOR LIVING
But that the movie is an Independent release should´nt make any difference. If people see a trailer of The Club, I'm sure they gonna wanna see it. And most ppl will love it, just like I do. So I'm not sure they will loose any mony. It's not like the actors are unknown, I recognised many of them and they are good. J.H Wyman's caracter is hillarious! And I think it's a very good movie with a great and unusual story. In my oppinion The Club is one of a kind and I truly hope that it's released on DVD soon.
( I'm sorry about my spelling, but I'm going to move so my lexicons are packed.)
Just got this in an Echo Bridge 8 pack for five bucks at wal-mart and I just finished watching it. It's fullscreen but the picture is passable, neat little flick, too.
I think the end of the world just came for that bag of Fritos I had in my pocket...
I just watched the Echo Bridge Home Entertainment DVD for this offbeat and interesting horror item. It's a strictly acceptable transfer from a VHS print source.
