'Are you out of your tree sir!' Clifford - Schitzo?

The best part, when Stephan turns off the plane in midair, forcing the pilot to land. Clifford looks at Stephan and asks irately if he is out of his tree (mind). Haha loved that joke, and right after he says it he gives the pilot an amazingly evil look. This is a movie from my childhood too, the dark humor has grown and grown on me, until now and I am in my twenties and this is still a favorite movie of mine.

I always wondered if he actually heard voices from his plastic dinosaur Stephan. Was it all him playing pretend like the antics of an 11 year old, or was it attributed to aspects of psychosis along with a aspects of neurosis?

And then at the end you see he still has Stephan as an old man, and still talks to him.

I really enjoyed how Clifford's mom was drunken lush, haha.

To weird to live, yet to rare to die.

Funny part, but to me, the best scene in the movie is when he's sitting at the kitchen table and Uncle Martin is yelling at him.. "look at me like a human boy!" ..."you can't do it, can you?" and the faces Clifford makes are hilarious!
