The Mission

The enemy is before me, around me, but yet no fear will I have.
My mission is met, death is my mission, my mission is met.
The Night will bring so much death, So many horrors born, on a river of blood, called duty, by men who compassion has scorn.
The life I have, wasn't mine to chose, but death, will always be the shoes I walk in.
I will stride the path, in death's shoes, until the mission I conclude, death is my mission, my mission is met.

This is one of my all time favourite movies! Not sure why, just that I really relate the Bolen character.
I suppose everyone can really in some way, trying to fit, yet held hostage by ones own perspective, and nature.

Do you know who wrote that poem by any chance.

reply

Mark Sevi the films writer wrote the poem for the film. The 'war poem' book out of the film isn't an actual book.

I agree, but this movie is better than most comedies out there.

I've always wondered if this actually could have been good, if you take out the robots and maybe the school and leave a helpless girl forced to choose between doing what's right and keeping her only line of defense against the world.

As far as i'm concerned, this movie is cosmic in it's greatness.

The greatest part of all is the end, when Sasha Mitchell tells the good teenager kids to come forward and hand him their weapons, they walk forward and fall in the manhole, the kids start freaking out and Mitchell in a non-chalant way drops a bomb in the hole. Priceless.

Another moment which had me in stitches is the part where he hangs a guy with the American flag. Hilarious.

Class Of 1999 II is one of the best bad movies ever. Plus it's got a dippy title, especially considering that it should be part 3. (Class 99 was a sequel to Class 84)

i loved class of 1999 and i love many crap films. This however was worse than crap. The whole distressed and Violent look/feel of the first film was lost, If i remember Sascha didn't even get to fight that much. I can't say that i remember too much once was enough.
