Is it just me, or has Christy always seemed like a Dr. Quinn clone show to you? No, Christy's not a doctor, but its set in the same era, same hick type mid western town, same time Dr. Quinn was on the air. I think that is why it didn't last too long.

Except for the fact that the book Christy was written long before Dr. Quinn, and was set in the Appalachian Mountains, not the mid-west and Christy was set in the early 1900's and Dr. Quinn was set in the late 1800's. I thought both shows were good, but I really loved Christy.
