Unanswered Question...?
I liked this movie... A lot. Although Ed Harris is one of my favorite actors, and Madeline Stowe was terriffic.
But still, what was this all about:
01:10:43 Nothing. It's a.38.
01:10:50 - Here's a surprise for you. - What?
01:10:53 - There's water in the lungs. - So?
01:10:56 Two gunshots wounds in him, and he was alive at the bottom the lake.
01:11:00 Cause of death: asphyxiation by drowning.
I only saw the movie once so far, but I don't think they ever followed up on this... The director seemed to make it quite clear that Mr. Munroe was dead, Dead, DEAD! after two gunshots, quite a bit of blood, and a completely lifeless body for (guessing...) two hours or so util they sunk him...
So... What was the point of the scene/comments about water in the lungs, alive at the bottom of the lake and death by asphyxiation/drowning?!?
Earlier edit of the film with alternate scenes or ending...?
